PRINCIPAL GEOLOGIST - MT ISA BASED
THE COMPANY
Deep Yellow Limited (DYL) is a pure uranium
exploration company with Australian operations in Queensland,
the Northern Territory and South Australia in addition to its
Namibian operations.
The Company has $65 million in cash and liquid
assets and has developed a Strategic Plan with anticipated
expenditure for exploration in Australia and Namibia totalling
A$12 - $15 million per annum over the next four years.
THE ROLE
The Company is seeking applications from
suitably qualified and experienced Geoscientists for the
position of Principal Geologist to head up its Mt Isa based
technical team.
Following on from a successful 2007 field
season 2008 programmes will see a focus on the drill out of
Queens Gift, Miranda and Conquest prospects; regional target
drilling and target generation within the Company's 6,000 km2
of tenements held in the Mt Isa district.
The position reporting to the Exploration
Manager is Mt Isa based and will suit a person with +10 years
experience and with proven strong organisational and technical
skills necessary to oversee all exploration activities and who
is seeking the diversity of a role which offers the
opportunity to be involved in supervision and hands-on
regional and project fieldwork.
Past experience within an exploration
environment will be essential for the management of
exploration programmes, for developing and mentoring the
exploration team and liaising with the various stakeholders.
Previous uranium experience would be seen as an advantage;
however, on-going training in uranium exploration techniques
is a Company policy for all employees.
DYL will provide a generous remuneration
package including a Mt Isa 'living allowance' and Incentive
options.
